Pipelinking Sinn Fein to related articles edit

It might be better to discuss those changes, first. GoodDay (talk) 01:04, 7 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

The Official Sinn Féin article is at Workers' Party of Ireland. The pre-split SF article is at History of Sinn Féin. Are you suggesting that this article should suggest, through linking to Sinn Féin, that a leading Official was in fact in the Provisionals? Mooretwin (talk) 01:13, 7 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
I'm suggesting that you not make an edit that's likely to be reverted by the opposers. They might slap you with 'tentative editing'. GoodDay (talk) 01:17, 7 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

For what? Mooretwin (talk) 01:26, 7 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
I don't know. These Ireland related articles, makes one a tad nervous. GoodDay (talk) 01:28, 7 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
The fact that it might be covered by the Troubles-related 1RR limit, is a nevous reason. GoodDay (talk) 01:57, 7 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

The article mentions Costello ceasing to be CoS, then in his 'offices held at death' list names him as CoS - if he resumed this post should this not be mentioned with a date, otherwise it appears contradictory 78.144.252.111 (talk) 16:54, 13 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

County Londonderry edit

See Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style/Ireland-related_articles#Derry/Londonderry - "Use Derry for the city and County Londonderry for the county in articles. Do not deviate from this merely because the subject relates to a particular side of the political divide ...". Alekksandr (talk) 19:11, 3 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
