Scripped Termination edit

On April 1st, 2015, the team at Scripped sent users an email stating the site was closing down due to "mounting technical problems and outdated technology". [1] They also stated that "Due to a simultaneous malfunction in our backup services and primary servers, the unthinkable has happened and all recent script content has been lost. We sincerely apologize for this. If you did not download a backup copy of your screenplay, then we regret to inform you that it no longer exists." [2] While both of these quotes can be found on their homepage, the site could go down soon. Their Twitter and Facebook pages were taken down very shortly after the incident. What sources in addition to Variety, Mass High Tech, and Alley Insider do I need? These are all legit 3rd party sources.

Notability alert removal edit

I removed the notability alert because our announcement that actor, director, and writer Edward Burns joined our Board should legitimize our page. The story has been carried nationally across the wires.

Additionally, we were featured in Variety in March 2008. As far as entertainment press goes, you can't do much better than that. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rbucks (talkcontribs) 17:30, 28 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hello out there edit

Hey guys, I appreciate the attention to this page, but I would appreciate an answer about why we can't stay here. We have 6200 writers and 7300 scrips. We're making really innovative partnerships in the entertainment industry and got Edward Burns, an A-list Hollywood actor, on our Board. We've been covered in Variety and Mass High Tech, among a slew of blogs.

I'm new at Wikipedia and am trying my best to follow conventions, and I'm using other companies at List_of_Screenwriting_software to guide the content and layout of my company's page. However, when I reach out to the admins who edit this page, I get no response. Please advise. Rbucks (talk) 03:06, 3 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Termination of Scripped.com edit

Sadly, the beloved website Scripped.com's domain was taken over by WriterDuet shortly after the malfunction of April 1st, 2015.

Too Bad.
