A pair of pictures, one showing what a scrim looks like when lit from in front and one showing what it looks like when lit from behind, would greatly improve this article. -Toptomcat 18:37, 20 May 2007 (UTC)

Pedantry edit
The article uses 'scrim' for material and 'a scrim' for a piece of material. So is 'scrims' a valid word? The use of a collective noun (scrim) and a plural (scrims) gets confusing! Is there a tidy solution? Vendeka (talk) 19:35, 24 September 2009 (UTC)

The article lead is MISLEADING, as there is a large industry on scrim for a NONWOVEN family of products.
