This should be moved to Untitled Scream sequel or Scream (2022 film)

According to Paramount Pictures, the title of this movie hasn't actually been confirmed as Scream 5. It appears that certain media outlets are making that assumption, even though the recent teaser on the official Scream Twitter account did not show a numbered Scream title. What lends more credence to the above statement is that the directors involved have not connected this project and referred to it as Scream 5 either. Additionally, Variety noted that Spyglass Media Group and Paramount are labeling this movie as a "relaunch" of the series. I find this case to be similar to what Universal Pictures, Blumhouse Productions and Miramax did to Halloween (2018 film) in that front. In light of such evidence, I suggest the idea of re-titling the aforementioned article page to either Untitled Scream sequel or Scream (2022), to accommodate the change. I think Untitled Scream Sequel is the best route to go right now, as we don't know if it will be a simplistic reuse of the Scream title like Halloween or a Scream 5 (or something awful like Scream: Reborn). TropicAces (talk) 14:02, 24 September 2020 (UTC)tropicAces

About the back and forth move

As of September 14, 2020 this was still unnamed

The movie is more than a year out.

This article from September 14, 2020 says "It certainly won't be called Scream 5...."

Please don't try to move the page or change the DISPLAYTITLE or DEFAULTSORT to anything other than the current page name until an official announcement is made.

Starring cast order

Can someone explain what the order of casting is supposed to be in? I just find it very odd that Neve Campbell is listed last, but according to IMDB they list her first? So I’m wondering if the movie herself lists her last? Hopefully someone will be able to answer this…Pillowdelight (talk) 03:29, 31 January 2022 (UTC)

Per Wikipedia’s usual practice, the cast order in the infobox is based on the billing block at the bottom of the official poster, but the movie follows that order on the point you’re questioning. The three major legacy cast members appear at the end of the photo credits, preceded by “with;” Campbell is at the very end and also gets an “and.” Appearing at the end of photo credits following “with” and “and” is generally a bigger deal than being at the start of the photo credits. IMDB may be using the order of the text credits; I can’t remember offhand where the legacy actors appeared in that. Brendan N. Moody 11:52, 31 January 2022 (UTC)

I'd like to add the following to the critical response section, between the News.com review and the New York Times review: Brian Tallerico of RobertEbert.com gave the film 3 stars and highlighted that it "feels consistent with the first four movies but distinct enough to have its own voice."

There is more updated information related to the sequel of Scream (2022). I would like to alter the Sequel section of this article to more accurately describe the upcoming Scream sequel. Specifically I will want to use information from an article posted in Variety. Updating the film's gross ranking

Currently in the third paragraph, it shares the film's gross amount, "making it the eighth highest-grossing film of 2022" where it then links to this wikipedia page, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2022_in_film#Highest-grossing_films. The issue is that on that linked wikipedia page, the film is not ranked as the eighth, but seventh. So, I would like to change "making it the eighth highest-grossing film of 2022" to "making it the seventh highest-grossing film of 2022." Elmqu089 (talk) 21:38, 26 March 2022 (UTC)
