Jargon edit

Could somebody create links that explain the hollywood jargon in this article. I think it' rather distracting.

"Openly gay" edit

Saying "Rudin, who is openly gay, ..." is a little hackneyed and makes his sexual orientation seem more remarkable than it really is. Nobody is ever described as "Robert Evans, who is openly heterosexual, ..."

It should be enough simply to say, "Rudin lives in New York City with his longtime partner John Barlow ..." Rangergordon (talk) 00:55, 28 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Cast "Pippin" in 1972? in the year he turned 14? edit

Something is wrong with the dates here. (either his birth year at 1958 or his production of Pippin in 1972.)Sojambi Pinola (talk) 12:25, 9 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Difficult edit

Where is the comment on his problematic attitude and working relationships? This is the guy who's so notorious for being euphemistically 'difficult' that Swimming_with_Sharks is widely agreed to be based on him, at least in part. 82.23.7.57 (talk) 00:10, 5 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

SF Gate Quote, "So, too, are the privileges of power self-evident in the business world. Hollywood film producer Scott Rudin is such a powerhouse that at last count he had fired 119 personal assistants, not including those who didn't make it past their initial probation." Yeah, this seems pretty incredible. He's gotten a lot of press about this. I am going to add more to the article and clean up cites. It needs to be at least mentioned to make the article balanced. Right now I would say it's a bit unbalanced WITHOUT this information. -- BrillLyle (talk) 16:41, 13 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Today's tags edit

I've tagged this article for its lack of citations; its wholly inappropriate breezy, conversational WP:TONE; and its laundry-list sections simply listing movie titles without discussion or context, and which would more appropriately be rendered as a tabled list. As regards the year-old comment above, "widely agreed to be" is speculation and uncited; Wikipedia adheres to policies of verifying information, most especially so in biographies of living persons. --Tenebrae (talk) 15:06, 16 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Filmography edit

Would like to see his filmography as a table. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.95.219.8 (talk) 05:09, 11 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
