Talk:Score (Dream Theater album)

Meaning of "Score" edit

"The name of the album comes from the word "score", meaning the number twenty."

It should be added that the title "score" is a wordplay. Score standing for 20 and at the same time for the "musical score" (sheet music) used by the orchestra. The "musical score" is even hinted at on the cover. --77.11.81.116 (talk) 09:31, 15 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Concert Setlist edit

Shouldn't the setlist for the concert be removed now that the tracklisting is already in the article? It seems kind of redundant to me. Leeferdude 23:51, 26 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Good point. --Russoc4 02:10, 13 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Special Features edit

I think that there should be a special features section for the DVD/CD. It would give a better idea of all that comes with Score besides just the DVD. 23:51, 26 August 2006 (UTC)

SCORE or Score? edit

I think it is SCORE as on Dream Theater official website, it is spelled SCORE with all capital letters [1]. Cheers -- Imoeng 11:04, 25 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

I always have thought it's SCORE as well. That is why "SCORE" used to redirect to this article, but alas, it has already been taken. I did, however, put a redirect on the top of that page to the album. I think that is sufficient, unless you want to build a 2 object disambig. --Russoc4 11:51, 25 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
Well its no big deal. And someday, metal will rise. :P Cheers -- Imoeng 11:44, 27 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Bass Trombonist edit

I'm changing the link to George Flynn (trombonist), because the linked-to George Flynn is not a trombone player. Or at least, there's no mention of the trombone on his website. Counterfit 00:15, 15 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Score dvd.jpg edit

Image:Score dvd.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
