The title of this article is Schroon Lake, New York, yet the article appears primarily to be about Schroon, New York. Shouldn't this article be relocated to Schroon, New York with this article serving as a redirect? --JBC3 (talk) 03:29, 21 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

The article was originally moved from Schroon, New York to Schroon Lake, New York on the grounds that the town is most commonly known as Schroon Lake. I don't have local knowledge of the subject, but a quick glance at google [1], [2] lends credence to that theory. Right now we have one article covering the town, the lake, and the hamlet Schroon Lake, and I don't think we have enough to split those subjects out to their own articles. Under the circumstances, I recommend leaving the article at Schroon Lake, New York as an article about the broader Schroon Lake region, and editing the lead paragraph accordingly.
