Schizo? edit

Are schizencephaly and schizophrenia correlated? --Damian Yerrick (talk | stalk) 13:11, 24 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

...No.

No, but some have been treated with drugs that are also used to ease Schizophrenia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bellorinna (talkcontribs) 14:21, 1 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Missing predicate edit

From the article: "It is thought that normal neuron migration during the second trimester of intrauterine development, when primitive neuron precursors (germinal matrix) migrate from just beneath the ventricular ependyma to the peripheral hemispheres where they form the cortical grey matter."

Notice the lack of a verb? Should that read, "It is thought that the normal neuron migration during the second trimester of uterine development ... is disrupted"? IAmNitpicking (talk) 20:46, 21 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Any ideas on how to fix Causes edit

In the Causes section, I tried to fix the confusing wording, however I'm not sure what to do here. It listed an infarction and an in utero stroke as a cause. However, infarction is not very specific and is also a kind of stroke. I'm not sure what infarction was supposed to mean? A heart attack? Pear1020 (talk) 17:57, 30 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
