It deserves its own article because of its significance apart from the Schiavo case, and how it reveals how the Senate works. There's virtually no overlap in the people involved in the Schiavo memo and the larger Schiavo case. patsw 00:40, 7 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

I propose to merge this into Terri Schiavo case. It's been 16 years since the ordeal and I do not believe this has sustained coverage to maintain as a separate article. – The Grid (talk) 15:08, 7 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
