The new terminal building was completed a couple of years ago.
The DME/LLZ on runway 06 went operational in November 2015.

Hi All, With Scatsta being closed in summer 2020 and the owning council saying they see no further use for it as an airfield I've changed the tone of the article to be more historic. I'm not sure if it needs to be move within the wiki structure or if associated pages that ref to here e.g. Category:Airports in Shetland need to be changed.
