On 3 June 2009 I removed the following statement and list of people as not notable: Satana is best known for the quality education it has been offering to its people. Though a small town, it has produced a huge number of professionals in various walks of life, notably in IT, Medicine, Civil Cervices and Engineering. Some notable teachers who have helped shape the careers of hundreds of successful students are
- Mr. A. K. Ahire - The most visionary teacher who introduced students to new horizons (like State and National Scholarship Exams, GRE, Career Aptitude Tests) beyond the regular curricula. He has been providing valuable consulting to all aspiring students and their parents in deciding right career choices after SSC. He is the finest Mathematics and Science teacher who also excels in teaching Soft Skills necessary for professional success.
- Mr. B. D. Borase - Most popular college teacher among students of last 10 batches. He is affectionately called as 'B.D.Bapu'. He has such a magnetic teaching style that no student wants to miss his class, not even those who have opted out of his subject matter (Marathi Language). He has also contributed significantly towards the lively literary movement in the town.
- Mr. S. G. Khairnar - One of the sharpest minds in the field of theoretical Physics. Sheer intelligence and very captivating teaching style. A professor who has helped nourish young intelligent minds, especially those with high IQ. His teaching style is legendary when it comes to introducing complex physical theories to the young minds.
- Mr. V. A. Aher - Most accomplished English language teacher. He introduces his students to the soul of the English language. Always ensures that student get the glimpses of classic English literature early in their life. It is because of teachers like him, many students from this small town, are in their later life, able to master the tests like GRE which have significant portion dedicated to verbal skills.
- Mr. B. S. Suryawanshi - One of the best Mathematics teacher who always inspired his students to achieve success beyond academics. He is also very well read and is always enthusiastic to guide students to discover good literature. He is also known for his disciplinary approach.
- Mr. Y. S. Pagare - A legendary Arts teacher. He is also one of the finest Portrait Artists. He is a master in Calligraphy and has helped hundreds of students hone their skills in this field.
- Mr. N. B. Mahajan - A legendary Head Master known for his disciplinary as well as student friendly approach. He always sought to ensure that students know the value of discipline and hard work.
