Merge (Samvat) edit
Both articles Samvat (calendars) and Samvat (calendar eras) talk about the same things e.g Vikrama samvat etc., but Samvat (calendars) does it better. --Redtigerxyz (talk) 16:19, 13 February 2008 (UTC)

Merge (Hindu Calender) edit
There was a merge tag on Samvat (Calendars) pointing to Hindu Calendar from 2008. No discussion was started. This article lead starts with 'Samvat is any of the various Hindu calendars' leading me to think they can be merged. I will merge the articles unless anyone objects.
