Before I start tagging this article,or attempting to work on it, is there an active editor watching it?

Outline for revisions edit

First, I will add some information to the Introduction section.

[That he was an American Clergy man, switch the order of his titles and add that he was possibly the second.]

Next, I will revise/edit the History section to include more information.

[I added in the name of his parents, included that their was confusion over to exactly when he was born, and included that he was of a Huguenot family. I added that he was a linguist, that he achieved his status as a decan and when he married. I added when he went back to America, that he received the degree of Doctor of the Divine, and that he was elected Chaplain of the Senate of the U.S.. I also made it known that he had health issues and what he died of. I made many revisions to this article as well.]

Last I will add to the references and external links.

[I added my sources to the external links section.]

Quebec edit

Are you sure about his Quebec ancestors ? It seems quite unlikely that as huguenots they would settle in what was then New France. Before 1760, the colony was very strictly catholic and definitely not a destination of choice for huguenots. Possibly the Second? edit

Was he possibly the second bishop in The Protestant Episcopal Church in the United States of America, or possibly the second Presiding Bishop? Regardless, I don't see a reference for either claim. Can someone better acquainted help with this? Trumblej1986 (talk) 20:54, 14 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
