Proposed split of Acquisitions and attempted acquisitions section --> article titled List of mergers and acquisitions by Samsung

Just like other companies including Adobe, Advania, Apple, AOL, BlackBerry, CA Technologies, Cisco, Condé Nast, Dell, eBay, Electronic Arts, Expedia, Facebook, Google, HP, IBM, Juniper Networks, Microsoft, Nokia, Oracle, Red Hat, Sony, Symantec, Twitter, and Yahoo!; I believe that Samsung should have a separate article with mergers and acquisitions. Thoughts?

Plagiarism.

I was trying (fruitlessly) to find the name of the US Federal District Court judge that Samsung's former chief lawyer was allegedly ordered to bribe when I found a site that basically repeats this article verbatim.

wrong grammar for a Swiss town

Hello,

In the paragraph "Acquisitions and attempted acquisitions" under the title "Rollei – Swiss watch battle" is sentence which says "Samsung (Rollei) used its optic expertise on the crystals of a new line of 100% Swiss-made watches, designed by a team of watchmakers at Nouvelle Piquerez S.A. in Bassequort, Switzerland."

I'm sure it's not Bassequort, but Bassecourt, as Bassequort doesn't exist in Switzerland. — Preceding unsigned comment added by DavidVBergen (talkcontribs) 2018-04-09T20:38:21 (UTC)

Wrong Employee and Revenue information

The information on revenue and employees is cited from the Samsung Investor Relations, which is the Investor Site for Samsung Electronics, not the Samsung Group. The figures here are exactly the same as for the Samsung Electronics article. In other words this figure here does not include other divisions such as Samsung Heavy industries.

Samsung Scandals

Under the scandals section of Samsung some mention should most definitely be made to their 2007 case in which the chemicals they used to make certain chips caused over 200 deaths to people in their 20's. This was all swept under the rug until 2016.

Number of Employees

The number of employees in the infobox is wrong. The 320,000 listed is for Samsung Electronics only, not all 80-some companies in the conglomerate. (The same number is on the Samsung Electronics page.) This is confusing because samsung.com (and the press page there) are for Samsung Electronics. Jkonrath (talk) 14:34, 7 July 2020 (UTC)

U.S International Trade Commission order paragraph in "1970–1990" written in present tense

The paragraph detailing the United States International Trade Commission order of Samsung Group of South Korea unlawfully selling computer chips seems to be (partly) written in present tense, including phrases like "within the coming weeks", while it seems to cite it's source word for word. This may be confusing for readers, seeing as Texas Instruments and Samsung have long since settled this matter, which can be verified by reading this article.
