Questions and POV concern edit

First I'd like to say excellent, informative article. Second, I was wondering what the exact wording of the enacted PST is and where could I read it.174.6.130.25 (talk) 03:14, 28 September 2009 (UTC)BeeCierReply

This article seems a bit opinionated to me. It presents one side of several arguments without presenting the arguments from opposing points of view. Mgolden (talk) 14:53, 4 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

A lot of the statements in the article do not have citations. I recommend these be removed or at least researched. These included a lot of the one sided arguments you mentioned. Perfect5th (talk) 05:28, 6 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
Add the POV and refimprove tag if you want; that's not why I'm here.Skookum1 (talk) 23:18, 22 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

"Temporalization" (re "{{globalize}}") edit

Sales taxes in BC existed a long time before the HST came along; this article's title is not Harmonized Sales Tax (British Columbia). Under the current title it should have a history of sales taxes in the province (and colony) and also notes on how spending related to/targeted from those taxes has been spent, as well as past historical controversies over various taxes.Skookum1 (talk) 23:18, 22 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Citation edit

In the section "Tax shift from business to consumers", there's a "citation needed" tag. A possible source would be http://www.bcchamber.org/advocacy-news/mintz-report-hst-create-investment-and-jobs — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.31.219.19 (talk) 18:23, 8 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

SST (Social Services Tax) - Shouldn't that be on this page? edit

I am not a tax expert, so I can't add that here, but shouldn't this page cover the SST? Specifically, I am referring to the 10% charged on liquor purchases in the province, instead of the PST.
