@Mccapra: Hi - thanks for the edit. Can you help as I am still quite new to this, and it was the first page I created. I’m not sure how to solve the notability issue. The page relates to an important LGBT event here in Puglia, rather than a company or product. I am not connected with Puglia Pride, but I did attend it. In response I have added citations to the leading Italian LGBT online news service and to a local newspaper’s online edition. Was the issue the page generally, or a particular section? Sources already included the Guardian newspaper from the UK and the Gay Puglia podcast which is the main online guide we have here to LGBT life and culture in Puglia. Hi thanks for your message. Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. I’ll take a look at the article again this evening. My concern was that there are Pride events in many towns and cities around the world and we don’t have articles about most of them as they are not, I think, considered notable. Hi I’ve had another look and my impression is still the same. The Guardian is certainly a good source. Brindisi.oggi is probably ok though generally local media count for less when editors are thinking about notability. I was wrong to add the tag for notability in organisations and the one I should have added was for events. Take a look at the notability guidelines for events and see what you think. I won’t do anything else with the article but it may be that in a few days another editor redirects it to Gay pride. Please don’t be discouraged if this happens. It is difficult to choose a notable topic when you first start editing, but there are plenty out there needing you to write them. All the best. Mccapra (talk) 19:01, 15 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
