Aircraft movements edit

I take it that we are both using Transport Canada TP 577 - Aircraft Movement Statistics Annual Report 2006.

I'm not sure if you mean page 27 as numbered in the document or page 27 as shown in the pdf reader but either way the 37,834 is not correct.

If you mean page 27 as shown in the pdf reader then that is for "Table 1, Total Aircraft Movements by Class of Operation" for airports with "NAV CANADA Towers". There is an aiport on that page with 37,834 movements in 2006 but it's Saint-Jean Airport (not Saint John Airport) in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec.

If you mean page 27 as numbered in the document then that is "Table 6, Itinerant Movement by Weight Group" for airports with "NAV CANADA Towers". That page starts with Hamilton and ends with Montreal/St-Hubert.

This airport is covered in "Section II, Airports with Flight Service Stations". Saint John Airport is in "Table 8, Total Aircraft Movements by Class of Operation" for airports with "Flight Service Stations" and is either page 43 as numbered in the document or page 65 as shown in the pdf reader and shows the figure of 20,631. Deficit edit

I have removed the statement that the airport is running a $1.5 million deficit, which was added (and then had a "citation needed" tag placed on it) in October 2013. I cannot find secondary sources about this, although I see secondary sources about earlier deficits at the airport. The statement is corroborated to a certain degree in the airport's own annual report for 2013, but there are notes about relevant accounting issues and in any case that is a primary source.
