Strange sentence edit

"The category of classes sailing yacht is among those officially recognized by the International Sailing Federation". This sentence is grammatically wrong but I am not sure what it is meant to mean. Is it trying to limit the scope of the article to yachts in some officially sanctioned category? Billlion (talk) 15:28, 7 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

A sailing yacht is a leisure boat that uses sails as its primary means of propulsion. Sailing yachts are actively used in sport and are a category of classes recognized by the International Sailing Federation. Shown here is the Zapata II, built in 1964, during the 2013 Ahmanson Cup in Newport Beach, California.Photograph: Don Ramey Logan Jr.

Name edit

There is a term Sail Cruiser . Not sure if it refers to a different class of sailboats. 213.149.61.151 (talk) 23:28, 21 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
