This is a wonderful type of scripture that has utility in many denominations. I notice that there have been few active editors here, and the page has been tagged for cleanup. I took a chance and did a bold rewrite, and will now sit back and see what happens next. I added some citations and also tried to make the language less fervent and devotional in tone. Can any others help with this effort? If I have offended anyone please let me know. My intention was to respond to the tags at the top of the page. If I inadvertently omitted something of importance, please add it back in or bring it up on the talk page so we can work together to improve this important page. It has been a couple of days since I did some rewrites, with no reaction yet. What is the process to decide if the {{POV check}} and {{confusing|February 2007}} are still needed? What about Durga ?
