Talk:Safety pilot

This page is useful to me as an American pilot, though it may not be generally applicable worldwide. --208.66.102.2 23:19, 13 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Use of non-certified or extra pilot edit

In YouTube videos, I’ve heard the term “safety pilot” to refer to a pilot who sits in the right seat when not required to have a second pilot. An example might include a pilot without an instrument rating acting as pilot monitoring. Anyone else familiar with this use? Dw31415 (talk) 11:40, 22 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
