HTML Splatters Running Amuck edit

The article starts out "Sadakat Kadri (born 1964 in London) " and "London" is underlined in blue. It is indeed an html anchor to a Wiki article on London, utterly distracting from, and in no way relevant to, the article on the excellent Kadri.

What can possibly be going through the tiny mind of the person who inserted this htmlement?

I mention it here because this is a widespread irritant of our time. The net press is often rendered unreadable by the pop-ups, overlays, and other idiocies of soi disant "programmers" who want to show of their supposed skills, and are allowed to do so, apparently, by editors perhaps so intimidated by the "advanced" "technology" being deployed that they can't tell their tekkies to take a flying one.
