I have updated the article and especially references, found it when I was updating photos at Wikicommons.
At the first stage of publishing the article it was redrawn to a Draft stage, to me it just disappeared and I could not find it and did not know how to communicate it.
Actually I find it hard to communicate these different stages of an article and how to meet deletion requests and I haven't found an instruction how it works with the Wikipedia organisation.

I've trimmed this article down to about 75% of what it was. The project definitely existed, but very few reliable sources are out there. The previous version used very bad sources (secreteprojects.co.uk?) and also had no next to no sourcing for the main section on the 401. I've trimmed this to the verifiable bits.--- Possibly (talk) 04:38, 14 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
I've now cleaned it up and ensured that everything in the article is properly sourced. Since user Zzalpha has a declared COI as the son of one of the 401's engineers, they should not edit the article directly, but use this talk page for requests instead. --- Possibly (talk) 06:01, 14 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
