Origin of Name edit
It might be interesting to note that the name "Defiant" was a result of the RAF's only public naming contest. The winning entry, Defiant, was submitted by someone who claimed the name came off of a woodburning stove. I don't remember exactly which website I learned that from, but it was a direct quotation from a Rutan interview. LostCause 06:58, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
