Terminology edit
Singaporean rugby was founded and initially developed by foreigners who tended not to remain in the country. Almost all, by and large, would return to their homelands after a few years in Singapore. They are better described, not as immigrants; people "who come to live permanently in a foreign country",[1][2] but simply as expatriates – those "who live outside their native country",[3] or "leave one's native country to live elsewhere".[4] Comments welcomed. -- Ham105 (talk) 00:20, 22 September 2017 (UTC)
