Talk:Rugby union in Singapore

Terminology edit

Singaporean rugby was founded and initially developed by foreigners who tended not to remain in the country. Almost all, by and large, would return to their homelands after a few years in Singapore. They are better described, not as immigrants; people "who come to live permanently in a foreign country",[1][2] but simply as expatriates – those "who live outside their native country",[3] or "leave one's native country to live elsewhere".[4] Comments welcomed. -- Ham105 (talk) 00:20, 22 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
