Signing fee?

To me it seems that a "transfer fee" specifically means when one club buys out another club's existing contract. This excludes other fees often referred to as "world record" signing fees such as those of Vic Hey and Jonathan Davies.^[1] To address this, should we re-name this article to something along the lines of "Rugby league signing fee records" or "List of record signing fees in rugby league"? Or does it not really matter if fees that don't exactly fit under the definition in the lead are included? Or should these non-transfer fees be excluded?
