Israel Falou / "nanny state" scandal in their contracts edit

Should be something on here about the Israel Falou, and "nanny state" issue around Rugby Australia controlling their employees religious freedoms, including what they post on their personal social media accounts outside of work. This has been front and center of most recent discussion of anything to do with Rugby Australia, and has been heavily covered in media, as well as in the Australian Parliament. Seems ridiculous nothing is on here about this scandal! 120.29.48.46 (talk) 12:51, 2 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

These events are given due weight on the Israel Folau page. Note the spelling of the man's name. This is an encyclopedia, not a newspaper. Material doesn't need to be duplicated across multiple pages – See WP:NOTNEWS and WP:UNDUE. -- Ham105 (talk) 16:12, 2 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
At the VERY LEAST something like this is needed on the RA page. >> Qantas is a major sponsor of Rugby Australia.[1] Israel Folau, was sacked by Rugby Australia, following his social media postings on homosexuality.[2]B20097 (talk) 08:52, 7 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
The events may be given due weight on the Israel Folau page but as the events are also significant to Rugby Australia, they should be mentioned on this page with links to Israel Folau. A separate article on the Rugby Australia-Israel Folau saga could be created with both pages linked to it. That is how a hypermedia encyclopaedia should work not by completely expunging any mention from the article because it is covered on some un-linked page and Ham105 and others would like to keep the article on their precious Rugby Australia free of all critical content.

Indigenous Wallabies edit

how can there only have even been 14 Indigenous Wallabies. Clearly shows the lack of focus and not creating opportunities for indigenous communities. It also shows why the NRL and AFL kick the ARU in growing the gane by far. Also why the wallabies amhave been weakening for the past 2 decades. 2001:8003:7405:2301:94C3:B4E2:ED76:1D5F (talk) 09:16, 30 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
