Request Expansion edit

how do I request expansion?

this article needs to be expanded not deleted... i vote no for deletion - rufio is a notable band - (Xsxex 23:44, 21 June 2006 (UTC))Reply

This band has a sizable underground following. The bands myspace is evidence of that. I also think this artice should be expanded...And will someone get the picture back? (IAngeloffuryI 20:50, 27 July 2006 (UTC))Reply

I've seen shows with this band where they weren't the final act, but they were the one everyone came to see. Hundreds of people chanted Rufio, Rufio, Rufi-O! until the band came back for two more songs against managements wishes. They have a large following and should not be deleted.

Similar bands edit

Similar to blink 182 and sum 41? Is that right, friends? =)

Not really at all except for they fact they are Pop-Punk...Rufio's musical style is more true punk with metal overtones and the vocal style is completely different than Blink and Sum...That's really kind of an insult to Rufio.

I agree...it's an insult to suggest that Blink 182 and Sum 41 are similar to Rufio. Maybe they are in terms of overall style (punk of one type or another, and all bands mentioned are Warped Tour Allumi), but in terms of complexity, it's an entirely different ballgame. There are none of the whining vocals in Rufio that are the trademark of the other two bands, for one thing, and the guitar parts in Rufio are easily three times as complex.65.248.164.214 (talk) 14:34, 13 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Still broken up? edit

I'm hearing rumors they're back together, with Alex Lewis (from Yellowcard)... could we get a source on this possibly? gdavies 03:42, 24 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

No, they didn't break up. I'm from Brazil and they'll play on various festivals with Funeral For A Friend here. And the bass player is Jon Berry again, but the drummer is Nathan Walker =D

Polishing edit

I would love to go through this and polish it up, remove repetitive diction, clean up grammar etc... The content seems pretty solid but the article lacks an authoritative voice and feels a little broken.

Should I even bother or is this another page that is "controlled" by one user and reverted anytime changes are made?

Another appearances of Rufio edit

Rufio has appeared covering "like a prayer" of Madonna on the Punk goes Pop compilation released under Fearless Records on the 3rd of april, 2002 I think this is one of the best songs of the band, so maybe it can be added to the Discography section... only thing is, I don't know how to do it myself. Anyone willing? Thanx! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 200.62.152.122 (talk) 18:40, 20 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Speaking about other appearances of Rufio, what about the Rufio from the movie Hook? That was who I was looking for when I searched in wikipedia.Crakker (talk) 17:02, 22 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Who is Roush? edit

The history section has two sentences about someone named "Roush", but there's no mention of who that is or even their full name. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:449:4500:9309:C051:E41:D26D:274 (talk) 22:01, 18 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
