I'm removing the importance note because it seems obvious that the inventor of an important device is important, especially if he received the IEEE Medal of Honor for it and wrote a book about it. The invention already has an extensive page. Dicklyon 04:24, 5 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Engineer Bob, your reference cleanup is contrary to the style that has been recommended to me. I'm no wiki expert, so see if you can find a consensus style on references. Thanks for preparing the way and working on this page and the others. JRP was a good friend of mine. Dicklyon 20:55, 5 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Nationality edit

If he later became an American citizen it should say so in the text. According to the text he was born Austrian and then became a British subject, but there's no mention of him also becoming an American, which it states in the info box. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.40.253.10 (talk) 13:58, 30 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
