Merger proposal, merger with Raspberry edit

Oppose. The first sentence of the Raspberry page explains the reason perfectly "The raspberry is the edible fruit of a multitude of plant species in the genus Rubus, most of which are in the subgenus Idaeobatus". The Raspberry page corresponds more-or-less to the subgenus Idaeobatus, and absolutely not to the single species Rubus idaeus. Nadiatalent (talk) 13:02, 16 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

  • Oppose as well; all species should are inherently notable and should have their own article. Sources for this specific species exist, anyhow, and it already has some references listed. fetch·comms 22:49, 17 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Framboise edit

Is Framboise really an English common name? The interwiki handles names in other languages, so I'd like to delete it here. Nadiatalent (talk) 12:17, 14 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Leaves and other parts edit

Nearly all of this section is poorly sourced and un-encyclopaedic. Statements like this - "Berries and berry extracts possess properties that make them important in the prevention of cancer" - are nonsense, and the sentence after the above quote is taken from a purely for profit commercial website that sells herbs. If there are no objections, I want to remove the above. Roxy the dog (talk) 18:22, 18 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
