There are several key flaws in the Royal Saudi Air Defence Force stub.

First, the RSADF is actually considered the fifth arm of the Saudi military establishment after the Saudi Arabian National Guard (SANG); Royal Saudi Land Forces (RSLF); Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) and the Royal Saudi Naval Forces (RSNF).

Secondly, HRH Prince Khalid Bin Sultan Al Saud never attained the rank of Field Marshal. He retired from RSADF service at the rank of Lieutenant General.

Lastly, the 'Peace Shield' radar network comes under the jurisdiction of the Royal Saudi Air Force and co-ordinated from its Riyadh Headquarters facility and five other sector command posts at Dhahran, Taif, Tabuk, Khamis Mushayt and Al Kharj. RSADF SAM and AAA batteries link into the system (as do RSLF and RSNF assets), however it is incorrect to imply that the RSADF controls the system.
