This page should not be speedy deleted because you can consider one of the most influential (former) restaurants, awarded with one Michelin star by the Michelin Guide, as a famous and notable place. It was the first restaurant ever in Northern Iteland te be awarded a star and it was the training ground for several other chefs who later were awarded Michelin stars themselves (on their own merit). At this point, I've placed some maintenance templates, which indicate the current needs of the article.

  • Notability. While the restaurant received a star from the Michelin Guide, this does not confer notability in accordance with the topical guidelines. There is no blanket notability for restaurants recognized by any particular restaurant guide, including Michelin, Zagat, Harden’s, or Forbes.
  • Sourcing. A restaurant is considered notable if it has been the subject of significant coverage in secondary sources. This is where the article lacks. I have not been able to find significant coverage outside of restaurant guides and reviews. Trivial or incidental coverage of a subject is not sufficient to establish notability. In-depth coverage about the subject is simply lacking, offering primarily brief and peripheral mentions.
  • Copyedit. Roscoff v Roscof; Rankin v Ranking; and general style and grammar.
  • Original research. Unverified claims and statements in the article need to be sourced.

Hope this helps. At this point, I would work on establishing notability through the presentation of significant reliable and independent sources. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Best regards, Cind.amuse 00:36, 12 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
