Page moves edit
Three page moves in 80 minutes, without fixing double redirects, equals one big mess. "Rory Ó Moore", the last of these, probably has the distinction of being the one version of the name that will never come up on a Google search. Since I was not permitted to move the article back to any of its previous titles, I have had to make up a new one. Please open a requested move if you want it moved again. March of the King of Laois? edit
The link says that "This ancient melody has been associated with the O'Moore family and may have been composed in praise of one Ruairi Og O Mordha, a head of the family during the 16th century" so it was written long before Rory O'Moore was born. Plus Rory never claimed to be a king of Laois. G. Gavan Duffy was not a professional unbiased historian, though he was prolific.86.42.203.176 (talk) 15:42, 28 November 2011 (UTC)
- Rory O'More king of Laois qualifies as the 1500s clan chieftain, not the 1641 leader. I think they're both muddled up all the time.PatrickGuinness (talk) 15:52, 14 September 2014 (UTC)
