Nice work! I think we'll need to shore up the refs because F&M, CSi and BGG would not be considered for notability purposes (not independent or not reliable) and that's most of the sources. I've had decent luck with archive.org .. search box with the "Go" button using the "search text content" radio button. They have a lot of old stuff. -- GreenC 17:21, 23 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the suggestion! The reason I used the F&M articles is because they both were published years after MacGowan had sold F&M to SJG in 1982, so he would have had no editorial control or influence over what was printed. But yes, more sources would be preferable. Guinness323 (talk) 18:27, 23 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
Search. Not a lot but there is Moves #59 which says "Fire & Movement was the brainchild of Rodger B. MacGowan, an artist and wargamer from Los Angeles.." - only a snippit. The magazine was taken offline probably for copyright reasons, maybe there is another place. -- GreenC 19:58, 23 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
Excellent article, thanks!. I have made good use of it. Just as a note, all issues of Moves are archived at the Strategy & Tactics Press website.Guinness323 (talk) 20:32, 23 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
