This article is about a mid-level manager in Aerospace engineering who became a property investor. Details are greatly exaggerated and/or taken out of context. There is really nothing here that warrants highlighting this person's life in an encyclopedic reference. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.85.4.50 (talk) 18:15, 29 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

I don't know why you're saying that a page with this title has been deleted. I am the one creating the article, and have previously only had the information on my user page. This is a new article. Please do not delete it. Iowahillgal (talk) 19:51, 6 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

I am not sure what you are concerned about. No one has nominated this article for deletion. It does need some work to get the tone of the article better and to remove some info that isn't pertinent to him but I don't think you need to worry about anyone deleting it. ~~ GB fan ~~ talk 19:54, 6 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, I thought I saw that it was marked for deletion. Can you give me some specifics about why my article has been tagged as "This article's tone or style may not be appropriate for Wikipedia" and "This article may contain material not appropriate for an encyclopedia."? The tags say to discuss on the talk page. I have looked at the "guide to writing better articles" and don't see where my article misses the criteria enough to be tagged. I have written other articles (under another user ID) and have never gotten this tag. Thanks for your help. Iowahillgal (talk) 21:58, 6 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Stick to facts that can be verified. There is a lot in the article about his state of mind. Here is an example: "The sixties were a very busy time for Bob, who had multiple irons in the fire most of the time." Read Wikipedia:TONE#Information_style_and_tone. Thanks, this helps. Iowahillgal (talk) 22:20, 6 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

After significant editing, I removed the tags for "tone" and "unencyclopedic" until article can be re-evaluated. I hope my changes will make you comfortable with removing the tags for "tone" and "unencyclopedic". If not, please let me know which sections need further work and I will take care of it. Thank you for your help. Iowahillgal (talk) 16:23, 11 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
