Fire? edit

My mother, who grew up in Ridgewood, and went to Ridgewood High School, has spoken of a fire that happened in the building in the late 1950's/early 1960's that did extensive damage, caused by arson. I'd think that it would be worth a mention in here. Besides, in a high school around since 1919, there's got to be a lot of interesting history to it... History section edit

The school was built in 1919, and certainly has an extensive history, which should be fleshed out a bit. Thus the section stub for history. The aforementioned fire is certainly an example of such a thing. Having been past there, the whole building does not appear to be from 1919, as one section looks 1950's-1960's vintage. Music edit

I took the liberty of updating the music section to include the new Concert Orchestra. --Divya da animal lvr (talk) 20:55, 1 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Newspapers edit

There are currently two three newspapers of the school, and a rumored third is in the works. Should this be included? --DMP47 (talk) 22:19, 21 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

NPoV edit

The NPoV In the music section is unbearable. I think we should just remove it from the article. Peter.C • talk 16:46, 9 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

"Asian Fest" event, orchestras/choirs... edit

There should be further detail in the music section in the "Music" section on the orchestra and choir program to balance it out with the band program. There is no mention of the golf team, as well as multiple other teams. Most of the most significant academic teams in the school, such as DECA, are missing, as well as many of the clubs and other groups offered, such as the RHS Recording Studio. But most significantly, this article doesn't even mention the event called "Asian Fest" that happens every year in the winter/spring. The students participating rehearse after school for multiple months before preforming throughout the school day in the campus center on the day the event is scheduled that year. Teachers often bring their classes to watch it for the period, but students on free also come down to watch when space is available. The event involves a rotating lineup of performances from 5 countries. The event came to be as a result of the high Asian population within the student body, particularly Koreans.
