Isn't there a U.S. Government-produced photo of Perle that we could use? Badagnani (talk) 23:12, 30 July 2008 (UTC)

Very amazingly, it does not seem so. But I'll be delighted if someone finds one. Rama (talk) 07:54, 31 July 2008 (UTC)
Seconded: Searched Google's entire collection, none found. The one with graduated blue background that possibly looks U.S. gov. is copyright AEI; (American Enterprise Institute). truthdowser (talk) 02:23, 22 November 2008 (UTC)

I am removing the image. The article is better without an image, rather than an abstract interpretive image. --Richard Arthur Norton (1958- ) (talk) 08:33, 2 August 2008 (UTC)

Please read WP:POINT and confine your problems to Wikipedia:Possibly unfree images/2008 August 2 where they belong. Rama (talk) 09:31, 2 August 2008 (UTC)
  • They are not related at all, I find the caricature offensive. Please always assume good faith, as I always do. A POV caricature does not belong in an article on a political figure, please leave if off until there is further discussion. POV material must be deleted and discussed to be restored. --Richard Arthur Norton (1958- ) (talk) 09:35, 2 August 2008 (UTC)
What is "POV" in this image? It was made from several photographs of Perle and does not deform his facial features, it is certainly not a "caricature". This is probably the best Free image of him we have (which is enough to warrent its presence in the article pending a better alternative). I have done a similar image for Philippe Herreweghe, is that "POV" too?
As to your good faith, given your behaviour at [1]... certainly, just let me catch my breath. Rama (talk) 09:46, 2 August 2008 (UTC)

REMOVE - I don't know if it is POV or whatever, the image stinks and decreases the value of this article. --HoboJones (talk) 16:55, 28 October 2008 (UTC)

I beg you pardon? Rama (talk) 16:59, 28 October 2008 (UTC)

I've removed the image per many of the complaints brought up here. My main issue is that a copyfree picture of Perle is undoubtedly obtainable and the cartoon is distracting from the seriousness of the rest of the article. -- Veggies (talk) 00:19, 21 August 2014 (UTC)
