My father has been composing for 40 years. He is not listed in any news article nor search. What constitutes a reputable website. What can I do so that he remains here in Wikipedia??? Thank you Rpkearns (talk) 22:44, 16 November 2009 (UTC)

No he has been a very private person. We convinced him to upload his music to various sites but he would only to it to sites that allowed music to be shared freely. 86.46.134.126 (talk) 23:23, 16 November 2009 (UTC)
- If there are no sources of information available from reliable sources, showing his notability, there is a chance that the article could be deleted. Even very private people who are notable tend to have some coverage in newspapers or magazines. If he has composed his own work, which has been published, I presume that somewhere there would be reviews of this work? The only place where there are reviews of his work are on This music site,[1]where he has shared his music with more than 30,000 people. These reviews are by musicians who have copies of his works. - I agree with Phantomsteve above. The main issue here is notability. If he is mentioned in any mainstream publication, (doesn't have to be mirrored on the internet), then the article might yet meet one of the basic requirements for inclusion in Wikipedia.
