Title edit

Is he still "right rev" or is that title relinquished? Anyway, I have to admit I think of him as an attention seeker. An intelligent one, with some good points, but just that anyway! --MacRusgail 20:05, 16 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Good question. Most of the material I found referred to him as such, even though he had stood down. Someone will no doubt come along and fix it if it's wrong. --Cactus.man 06:38, 17 January 2006 (UTC)Reply
one of the most outspoken and controversial figures in the Church: but is he now actually "in" the Church? Myopic Bookworm (talk) 09:51, 17 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
He's a bishop for life unless he is stripped of or renounces his orders. Whether he reverts to "right reverend" having ceased to be "most reverend" on retiring from the primacy varies among provinces of the Anglican Communion. I notice that retired primates of Canada remain "most"; archbishops of York and Canterbury revert to "right," though it's somewhat moot with all the honorifics they attain as life peers.Masalai (talk) 15:10, 22 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
