Review and stubify edit

I have reduced this article to a stub for the following reasons:

  • there were large unsourced paragraphs that were written to contain inline urls to external websiets of companies associated with the subject
  • As an WP:AUTOBIO it is particularly important that claims made about a living person are supported by reliable sources.
  • information in the lead was not supported with reliable sources in the body of the article.
  • a table of acting roles was unsourced and was largely uncredited or minor parts.
  • a table of "Press" was mainly a list of product advertising, links to online stores or paid advertising.

I have added to sources but do not believe it meets standards for notability and have nominated it for deletion. Flat Out let's discuss it 03:19, 4 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

After addition of 1 good source by another editor I have withdrawn Afd. Flat Out let's discuss it 03:31, 4 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Is she actually licensed? edit

The article states that she is a licensed - something! It used to say esthetician. Somebody changed it to "skin and conscious beauty expert". I thought "conscious" made no sense so I changed it to "skin, cosmetics, and beauty expert". But then I went to look up what kind of license she actually has (the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology offers various licenses, including esthetician, cosmetologist, manicurist, etc.), and I couldn't find her in their records! Here is where I searched [1] and here is the result of my search no results found. I thought maybe she used a slightly different name, but a search for anyone with the last name Loving also didn't find her. [2]. Please provide evidence that she has a current California license, or we will have to remove that from the article. --MelanieN (talk) 21:41, 23 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Acting versus Beauty careers? edit

Hi, I'm new to Wikipedia and plan to start with basic editing. But I don't know where to start with this article - the focus is more on her beauty industry work and less so on the acting career, but her acting feels more substantial and easier to cite. On the beauty side of things there are many references to magazines, such as Martha Stewart, Allure, the Huffington Post, and I wonder if that is okay? Based on WP:ADV policy I think they are okay, but are there too many citations linked to popular magazines? Would it be appropriate to shrink the beauty info and increase the acting info in this article? Thanks for your guidance Amskie (talk) 02:41, 8 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
