Boosterism edit

I tagged the article for boosterism. Any statement that reads "is well-known for" or "is known for" needs some kind of neutral, reliable source to verify that it's actually well-known. Many people think their programs or traditions are "well-known" when in reality, they're "well-known" inside the district and nowhere else. School articles should give a thorough, but general, overview of what is available at the school and other elements like its history and campus, not just tell us how wonderful the school is. Any outstanding claim needs a source and these sources should be from neutral, third-party publications rather than the school or district, to be sure there is no bias. --JonRidinger (talk) 20:39, 17 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
