Applications to scuba diving edit
There is a need for this subject to be expanded to include SCUBA diving. Scuba divers have to breathe very dry, cold gas when diving, and this can lead to very dry throats and trachea, leading to coughing or the feeling of needing to vomit in severe situations.
Though, it appears this subject is not really considered important or well researched, as there are few devices available for humidification of SCUBA breathing air.
