Talk:Rental utilization

In general, this article is inconsistent with regard to a spelling "standard" i.e. British or U.S. For instance, "queueing" versus "queuing" and "utilisation" versus "utilization".

That aside, in the body of section 6: "Human Utilization", the method for calculating utilization contradicts the formal definition of utilization given in section 1: "Queueing Theory".

Specifically, section 6 calculates utilization as average customer service rate divided by average customer arrival rate while section 1's formal definition of utilization is mean arrival rate divided by mean service rate.

As far as I know, section 1 is correct while section 6 is incorrect. Oiburp (talk) 20:07, 7 June 2010 (UTC)

Article became nonsense (not notable)

If there is any reason to keep current text of the article other then only as a section in (for example) Product lifecycle. Also current Russian interwiki is not correct (different subjects) Apetrov09703 (talk) 06:26, 17 December 2018 (UTC)

@BD2412, thanks for reply. You are right, there are a lot things exist in the real world. However, before its renaming the article was an attempt to cover very important and sophisticated domain "Utilisation-Operation-Service" which could be considered from the different points of view. Now the article shrinks to very narrow area of consideration close to vocabulary meaning of this two-words term Apetrov09703 (talk) 05:38, 18 December 2018 (UTC)
