Notability discussion July 2010 edit
Regina Saphier lives in Hungary. I live in Croatia. She has single handedly accomplished a great deal in terms of brain gain and repatriation for Hungary. Google the subjects and one will find that this service is exemplary. In my article I didn't comment on this. In terms of notability, it is hard to find any other source that could match the unique contribution she has made to Hungary. Notability is supposed to be a primary criterion for Wikipedia. Brain gain and repatriation are HUGE issues in these eastern European countries and Wikipedia can get itself up to date on this with articles like the one on Regina Saphier.Joseph molitorisz (talk) 18:09, 11 July 2010 (UTC)

- In Hungary this person in her field carried out something remarkable as a civic activist that no other person ever attempted since the iron curtain fell. Out of nowhere she created a civic organization, built a community. The links are articles in magazines, some are even academic research articles where her pioneer work and research are mentioned. She did something remarkable and people who care about returning know that. Just because you can’t read in Hungarian, you believe she is unremarkable? That is prejudice and discrimination based on language. Her work has internationally and regionally relevant aspects as well, so has to be available in English. I've removed an old neutrality tag from this page that appears to have no active discussion per the instructions at Template:POV:

Since there's no evidence of ongoing discussion, I'm removing the tag for now.
