Comments edit

English isn't my mother-tongue. I have just translated this page, hoping not to have done bad mistakes. However, I think this article should be wikified at least.

Would it be helpful if I put where the latin name stems from? Cheeseman1

Sadly, the citation used for the hog's voice sounding like the Rite of Spring's bassoon solo does not actually include any information on the hog's voice at all. Would it be helpful if someone requested further citation? cranhandler — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.217.246.186 (talk) 14:11, 5 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Porcus vs. Larvatus edit

There are two different species of bush pigs (=genus: potamochoerus): The "real" Bushpig (Potamochoerus larvatus) and the Red River Hog (Potamochoerus porcus). The article says the Red River Hog is also called bushpig? Is that correct? If so, it's confusing. If not, it should be corrected. There should also be a notice in the article to clear up the confusion! --Spdobro 15:52, 3 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Misc edit

It is confusing that the weight is given in pounds followed immediately by the metric height —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.230.178.1 (talk) 03:36, 25 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
