Terrible article. Not up to wiki standards. A real lack of citations and it appears to be slightly sensationalist and unscientific — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.3.6.87 (talk) 14:22, 14 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Yes, this article needs work. It does have a fascinating origin story. Maybe we can pick up where it was left off in 2010. For starters: perhaps we should move the article to "Drug use in Kenya"? "Recreational" seems to be an unnecessary word with unproven connotations. At this point it might also be interesting to add a section on media. I'm intrigued by the fact that this is sort of a one-of-a-kind article, with everything else crammed into the Recreational drug use article. groupuscule (talk) 08:59, 22 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Habiba's Peer Review edit

1. The article is well organized, and addresses the causes and effects of the Kenyan drug problem clearly. 2. I think that the author can work on the overall neutral tone of the article more, answering the statement made in the lead section, as to why drug use is a major problem in Kenya. Furthermore, the author should add more sources. 3. The most important thing the author can do to improve the article is using more sources, which support the claim, that recreational drug use in Kenya is a major problem. 4. The article is very organized, with chronological sections. However, I think the author should add more to its lead section, with supporting evidence that recreational drug use is a problem in Kenya. 5. I really like how the author added cause and effect sections in their article, and I will consider organizing my article this way in the future. 6. As a reader, I would like to know what the Kenyan government and civil societies are doing to address this issue, if it is one. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Habibaradwan1 (talkcontribs) 23:51, 6 April 2019 (UTC) Habibaradwan1 (talk) 23:54, 6 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
