How does it work? edit
A glance at the random.org website did not reveal to me how it transforms measurements of unpredictable phenomena into random numbers. Transforming the real-world probability distribution of the measured phenomenon *"atmospheric disturbance" in this case) into a sequence of independent bits can be tricky. So if the process of transformation is hidden, it is hard to evaluate the validity of the process.Daqu (talk) 18:00, 21 October 2015 (UTC)

Why is there no corresponding Wikipedia page on HotBits <https://www.fourmilab.ch/hotbits>??? The Grand Rascal (talk) 10:21, 23 February 2021 (UTC)
- As far as I know, not many sites link to or reference HotBits. Also, random.org is more popular. Awesomecat713 (talk) 03:09, 16 May 2022 (UTC)
