I placed relevant templates on the article to indicate how the article needs work. I do not think he is notable per WP:ACADEMIC or WP:BASIC. I think the "may not be notable" flag should be removed because the man is a member of a national academy as cited in the article, which qualifies him as notable in academia Atm17 (talk) 17:49, 29 June 2016 (UTC)
