I believe that we should include text to state that the acharyaship of Rakeshprasad is currently in dispute. The matter has already been up to the Indian Supreme Court once and the Court vacated the removal of Ajendraprasadji Maharaj who was Rakeshprasad's predecessor in the gaadi. 216.188.246.72 21:40, 3 November 2007 (UTC)SS

It does not look like you have read the Supreme Court of India's decision! Better get an attorney to explain to you before you use the words such as “vacate”. It seems your knowledge is limited and based only on here say and not facts. Dear 'Lynx' I am afraid your wikipedia is responsible for spreading this wrong information to the world about Shri Ajendraprasadji.... Mr. Rakeshprasad is not at all acharya or connected to the SWAMINARAYAN Sect .. Your claim of removing Shree Ajendraprasadji and appointing Mr. Rakeshprasad is baseless and fake and totally wrong and misleading the more than1000000 devotees across the earth. Give high Court judgement copy. Give proof as Nautam as monk...He is outcasted like BAPS people the shopkeepers having no spiritual or religious principles in line with Lord Shri SWAMINARAYAN

OTRS spamathon

Just a note to let editors know that in the last day or so OTRS has been spamflooded by supporters of Ajendraprasadji demanding changes to this article. The emails are being deleted without response, but for interested parties, the demand being made is that the listing of Rakeshprasad as active Acharya be removed, along with the mention of the High Court's removal of Ajendraprasadji as Acharya. I make no comment as to the validity of these demands, but am just noting here for the record that they have been made (and will continued to be ignored by OTRS, since it is not in OTRS's remit to make changes to articles on request). Misleading and Wrong Write-up in This Article for Acharya at Vadtal Laksminarayandev Gadi , Shri Swaminarayan Sect, India

Following are the absolute facts and truths,

1. There is NO JUDGEMENTS of any courts stating that, His Holiness Acharya Shree Ajendraprasadji of Vadtal Lakshminarayan Dev Gadi (Southern Diocese) of Swaminarayan Sect has been removed as an Acharya.

2. Some disgruntle elements, however is trying to disturb the established customs and privilege of "Acharya Parampara" which exists since ~ 220 years and have filed a civil suite in Nadiad Civil Court which is till pending. For your reference, special civil suite no. is 156/2002

3. In the regard of this suite Hon'ble supreme court of India has observed in CIVIL APPEAL NO.3380 OF 2005

        " The dispute centers round the question as to weather the removal of Ajendraprasadji Narendraprasadji Pandey from the post of Acharya on the basis of purported resolution dated 11.5.2002 passed by a body calling itself Satsangha  Maha Sabha was valid.  Intimately linked with this core issue is the legality of the action taken to install Rakesh Prasadji Mahendra Prasadji. The dispute relates to Shri Swaminarayan Sampradaya, Vadtal Gaddi. ...

4. Accordingly the trial court vide order dated 28/09/2005 has framed the Issue i.e.

    "1. Whether pltf. Proves that the resolution No.4 dated 11-5-2002 at sarangpur is legal and valid ?  "  in this regard.

which is still under Court's consideration and the Plentiffs have not yet proved the legality of such 'purported resolution'. nor the Hon'ble Court has declared that the said resolution was valid and H.H. Acharya Shree Ajendraprasadji has been/ or is removed as an Acharya.

5.Even today the name of H.H. Acharya Shree Ajendraprasadji Maharaj is mentioned in all official records and even in 'Public Trust Register' maintained by 'Charity Commissioner's Office' as 'The Acharya' and Custodian Trustee of Vadtal Trust. (i.e. Kheda A-1417).

6. So it is absolutely wrong and inappropriate to say that 'An order by the Gujarat High Court removed his predecessor, Ajendraprasad, and appointed Rakeshprasad as acharya, in his place on the secret requirement of the satsang mahasabha headed by monks namely a Nautam Swami.'

7. Vadtal temple is not entire sampraday or Shree LaxminarayanDev Gaddi, its just only one part along crores and lacs and large number of followers others. So only then calling someone as so-called acharya does not have any relevancy leaving apart the relation and/or impact on entire sampraday-the swaminarayan sect.

Last but not least, we submit with authenticity that,

Shree Swaminarayan Sampraday is and founded on the tenates and Principles laid by Lord Shree Swaminarayan, the founder Himself and no one has any rights or is / are authorized including the plaintiffs, and/or body of few disgruntle elements calling itself Satsangha MahaSabha to destruct, defame or change any kinds of, at any point of time, under any circumstances the pure pious principles and traditions set , established and approved accepted by law and also by Crores of devotees and followers.

Unfortunately someone has given false and wrong inputs which has / could not been checked before uploading , therefore its humble request to correct above relevant facts and absolute truth as mentioned in this page for maintaining the dignity and authenticity of wikipedia.
