...contains the phrase: "It has completed seventeen years of its existence." Which means that this text is 8 years out of date. It also looks suspiciously like the text located at http://www.rgu.ac.in/aboutrgu/rguhistory.html which leads me to believe it was lifted verbatim from their website 8 years ago. City edit
This article lists the city as Itanagar. However, their website (http://www.rgu.ac.in/contactus.html) lists their city as Doimukh, which doesn't have a Wiki page. I don't know enough about geography in India to know whether Doimukh really is a city - can anyone assist here? Dracunculus (talk) 22:04, 28 October 2009 (UTC)
Also - the university postal code is 791112. Indiapost.gov.in lists this as the postal code for: Doimukh, Arunachal University, Kheel, Midpu and Saglee. It lists the postal code for Itanagar as being 791111. Dracunculus (talk) 22:08, 28 October 2009 (UTC)
Yes, Doimukh is around 25 km afar from Itanagar, which is the state capital. For most reasons, stating the location as Itanagar works better and helps in locating the place on the maps of India. Doimukh doesn't have much significance considering that the place is mostly rural and doesn't have any tourist attractions either, it is not very familiar to people outside the region.Renzut (talk) 04:30, 10 January 2012 (UTC)
