Siponto or Manfredonia? edit

In the phrase "suzerainty over Siponte and Monte Gargano", Siponte has been changed to "Sipontum" and pipe-linked to Manfredonia by a recent editor. Can we get a sourced identification?--Wetman (talk) 15:48, 20 August 2008 (UTC).Reply

Should say "Siponto" (no reason for Latin, no need to pipe to a later town). My source is the external link, which cites Amatus. Srnec (talk) 18:15, 20 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
Thanks. Couldn't have done that myself.--Wetman (talk) 05:34, 21 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
